Whenever I have more time on my hands than I should, I embark on blogging:)
The past week or so has been a little crazy with numerous unplanned things jumping onto my path with little or no warning whatsoever. Well, I 'work' from home you see and the days can been planned rather perfectly to suit my likes and dislikes. From the time I wake up in the morning (yawn..and curl back to sleep again) to the time I repeat all of that later at night, I am privileged to make most of my decisions for the day based on my level of zest for life. And thank God, life's zestier than ever these days!! Now back to the unexpected stuff in life...these things jumble up your routine, make you take detours and put you on a 'huh' mode often enough. Yet for some reason, if these things don't come along, life would have no real meaning and be rather too boringly predictable. Take for example my so-very-unexpected trip to good ole Ipoh last week. Decided the night before and hopped into my niece's car early the next morning. Got to spend some Q-time with my favourite niece, go 'waaaaa' when passing this pretty waterfall (and yes I have a picture), visit with kinfolk, eat some yummy nasi lemak along the highway and brave the 'old-age aches and pains' to return home in one-happy piece on the same day! Yes, yes I know this is all so normal for some of you out there but the essence of this is that is was UNEXPECTED and NOT IN MY PLAN. Yet when I embrace these things, I allow myself to encourage and be encouraged while gaining a whole new experience of life's countless wonders.
